Special Education Teacher (All Grade Levels)

Location: Bayard, NM
Employment Type: Full-time Contracted Position (Hourly Pay)

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of academic and behavioral settings.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Employ various instructional techniques, technologies, and materials to facilitate student learning and engagement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field (or equivalent).
Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and professionals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
