- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of academic and behavioral settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Employ various instructional techniques, technologies, and materials to facilitate student learning and engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field (or equivalent).
- Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and professionals.
