The Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (SHMF) has been taking place since 1986 at various venues in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, and Denmark. With over 200 events, it is considered one of the largest classical music festivals in Europe and regularly presents renowned international artists alongside numerous musical discoveries. In addition, the SHMF organizes the Jazz Baltica festival.

For the start of training on September 1, 2024 and February 1, 2025, we offer apprenticeships as

Event Management Assistant (m/f/d)

During the apprenticeship, you will learn to independently plan, organize, and implement all aspects of event management, from conception to follow-up. The training takes place in close collaboration with the festival team and involves independent work processes under supervision. Creativity, flexibility, and resilience are required. Especially during the festival season in July and August, working hours are irregular and include day and evening shifts.

Training at the highest level
