- Lead and manage the HR function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee recruitment and staffing efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, and EEOC.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS systems.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics and ensure ongoing compliance training for all employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational initiatives and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle confidential and sensitive HR matters with discretion and confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of human resource management experience, preferably in the health care or medical device industry.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive HR matters with integrity and professionalism.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
