assist elderly individuals with ADL's ( bathing, feeding, transferring, etc )

*perform light house keeping

*able to cook simple dishes and meal prep

*have an understanding of Dementia and Alzhiemer's

*need a willingness to learn and grow personally

*works well with others and understands a team environment

Company DescriptionDesert Cottages specializes in Dementia and Alzheimer care with a unique approach. Our beautiful homes are designed to ensure the safety and security of our residents, and incorporate soft and soothing interior design features to help foster a feeling of calm. Desert Cottages are spacious, each housing a maximum of 6 residents, creating a high level of staff oversite. We have extensive experience with Hospice care, and each of our staff members are trained in Dementia care.

Desert Cottages strives to provide the best possible care for elderly individuals, and our goal is to make our residents as comfortable and full filled as possible in the latter stages of their lives. We strive to enhance and improve the lives of our residents in everyway possible, providing them with excellent, individualized care, and treating them with kindness and respect.
