Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their personalized care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of lifting equipment if necessary
• Support individuals in maintaining their independence and promoting their overall wellbeing
• Foster a safe and comfortable environment for residents or clients
• Document care provided and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel
• Practice behavior management techniques when necessary to ensure a calm and supportive environment
• Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality at all times

Experience:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of caregiving techniques, behavior management, and resident rights is a plus
• Ability to lift and move residents or clients safely, following proper lifting techniques
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
