    Verona was founded by two serial entrepreneurs Mr. Poshak Agrawal and Mr. Rahul Subramaniam, and backed by some of the biggest names in global technology, such as Mr. Michael Novogratz (ex-Fortress Investment Group, CEO of Galaxy Group Investments) & Mr.

    Rishi Jaitly (ex-Twitter CEO for Asia, Middle East, and Africa).Security and Science make the basis of Verona where before matchmaking there will be Fintech-grade authentication to ensure fraud detection.

    Through a deep appreciation for the science of compatibility, with Verona, we will be using AI for matchmaking based on an individuals core & shared values.

    The Head of Growth will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Veronas growth strategy, including but not limited to sales, marketing, brand management, product development, user acquisition, retention, and monetization.

    This executive-level position requires a proven leader with a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the online matchmaking industry.


    Location Gurgaon / London / Gurgaon-London HybridKey skills:

    Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a track record of driving growth and marketing initiatives and achieving measurable results.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Experience managing brand collaborations and partnerships, with a focus on driving mutual value and impact.
    A passion for innovation and creativity, with a keen eye for emerging trends and opportunities in the market.

    Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen, with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth plans and initiatives.

    Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

    Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, CRM systems, and performance analytics toolsEducation and Experience-Masters degree in Sales & Marketing or related field7+ years of experience in global sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the technology or online matchmaking industry.

    Exposure to Global markets (UK & US)Proven track record of driving revenue growth, user acquisition, and brand awareness through innovative marketing strategies and sales initiatives.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership and Planning:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with Veronas long-term objectives and market dynamics.

    Lead sales marketing & media teams in defining and prioritizing key growth initiatives to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

    Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.


    Sales and Revenue Generation:
    Lead the sales team in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive application memberships and premium subscriptions.
    Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, affiliates, and influencers to expand Veronas market reach and monetization potential.
    Analyze sales performance metrics, customer feedback, and market insights to optimize pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and revenue streams.


    Marketing and Brand Management:
    Enhance brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction to enhance Veronas market visibility, credibility, and brand equity.
    Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, content marketing, and events.
    Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure consistency in brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across all touchpoints.


    User Acquisition and Retention:
    Develop and execute user acquisition strategies to drive qualified traffic, downloads, and registrations through organic and paid channels.
    Implement retention initiatives, loyalty programs, and personalized engagement strategies to enhance user satisfaction, loyalty, and lifetime value.

    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conversion rates, and cohort analysis to track user behavior, identify churn risk, and optimize retention efforts.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Build and mentor a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, empowering them to achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
    Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team growth.

    Contribute to Product Development and Enhancement:
    Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize and drive the development of new features, enhancements, and product innovations.

    Gather and analyze user feedback, market research, and performance data to inform product roadmap decisions and improve user experience and engagement.

    Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring alignment with user needs, preferences, and evolving market trends to inform product roadmap decisions and improve user experience and engagement.


    Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
    Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
    Monitor industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to anticipate market shifts and adapt growth strategies accordingly.
    Benchmark Veronas performance against industry peers and best practices, identifying areas for differentiation and competitive advantage.
