Job Summary


The HR Program Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development, administration, coordination and communication of various HR Programs at our Bedford, Massachusetts site.

May also participate in programs that are developed across the United States with other facilities to provide consistency in delivery of programs throughout Werfen.


Responsibilities:


Key Accountabilities

  • Primary point of contact for assigned HR Programs, which includes but is not limited to: Wellness programs, employee development and engagement programs, Employee Scholarship programs, charitable giving or community outreach programs.
  • Responsible to ensure all of the administrative activities to run HR programs are completed timely and effectively, such as scheduling meeting/events, invoicing and purchase order processing, marketing collateral, and employee communications.
  • Partners with program managers to provide updates, metrics, and provide assistance on updating any and all documentation needed for program management (policies, communication, digital references, etc.).
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition, as required, for external recruitment needs for assigned programs. May attend career fairs or networking events to represent the program.
  • Conducts research and analysis of best pratice(s) for assigned programs.
Uses that analysis and research to identify and recommend program improvements.

Qualifications:


Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fied required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in program support role required.
  • Experience in Human Resources strongly preferred.


Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.

Travel requirements:

Up to 5% travel.
