The MTV Main-Taunus-Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH, located in Hofheim, is the local service provider for public transportation in the Main-Taunus district.

The MTV is responsible for planning and organizing bus and on-demand transportation services in the district, and serves as a service provider and contact for passengers, transportation companies, and the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund.

We are currently seeking a

Business or Legal Counsel (m/f/d)


Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts in accordance with procurement law
  • Providing business support to departments on topics related to public transportation and association financing
  • Assisting management and departments with business and legal issues
  • Providing legal support for procurement measures and infrastructure projects
  • Assisting the reimbursement team with legal matters, specifically regarding objection procedures according to § 161 HschG
  • Defending and enforcing legal claims
  • Responsible for risk and contract management
  • Process responsibility for creating committee documents

Qualifications:

  • Law degree with second state examination
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on public transportation and knowledge of its sectorspecific economic conditions
  • Indepth knowledge of procurement and contract law
  • Ability to understand complex economic relationships, identify risks, and consider them in legal decisions
  • Creative thinking and strong problemsolving skills
  • Independent, structured, and careful work style with quick comprehension
