    Job Description

    We are looking for a Bookkeeping/Office Support to perform daily bookkeeping tasks that will support our financial team. Bookkeeper responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an experience in an office setting and/or a degree in Accounting and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our company run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions. In addition to the bookkeeping support, the ability to assist with tax preparation for the clients.

    This is great position for candidates that have experience in working in small bookkeeping/tax practice or have a degree in accounting and are looking to develop skills they learned in classroom. A person that has single company experience doing accounts payable/accounts receivable is not a good fit for this position.

    Responsibilities for Bookkeeper / Tax Support

    · Provide client support with their financial records

    · Reconcile GL accounts for several clients

    · Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies

    · Create and update expense reports

    · Demonstrated Customer Service Experience· Enter financial transactions into internal databases

    · Check spreadsheets for accuracy

    · Maintain digital and physical financial records

    · Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed

    · Process, review and file payroll documents

    Requirements for Bookkeeper / Tax Support

    · 3 years experience as an Office Assistant or bookkeeping or an associate/ bachelor degree in relevant field.

    · Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures

    · Familiarity with finance regulations

    · Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors

    · Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)

    · Strong Organization skills

    · Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

    · Predominately on location office hours, with some limited flexibility

    · Demonstrated Customer Service Experience

    · Work Location is on-site

    Compensation forBookkeeper / Tax Support

    · Pay Time Off

    · Pay Holidays

    · Flexibility in hours

    · Compensation ranging $18 to $23 p/hour
