- Candidates must have a PhD in immunology, genetics, molecular or cellular biology, computational biology, bioengineering, or a related biological or biomedical science.
- Experience with primary immune cells, specifically T cell biology.
- Experience with genomics technologies, including perturbation screens, single-cell omics/multiomics, and/or high content imaging is highly desired.
- Experience with genomics data analysis (e.g. single-cell/bulk RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, etc) and R/Python.
- Have advanced at least one key research project as evidenced by a first-author paper published or accepted in a respected peer-reviewed journal.
- Have excellent communication skills and a collaborative and collegial mindset.

The PositionThe Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher for a joint Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Rozenblatt-Rosen, Thakore, and Freimer labs in the Cell and Tissue Genomics department at Genentech.
The candidate will deploy advanced genomics technologies to dissect complex cell circuits that drive immune cell fate in physiological and disease contexts.
The candidate will also analyze high-dimensional profiling and screening data to extract biological insights, leveraging existing computational workflows or developing novel ones.
The candidate will collaborate closely with scientists of diverse expertise, including immunology, genomics, and computational biology.
The applicant will have access to our cutting-edge research campus, equipped with the most advanced biomedical, experimental, and computational technologies.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $64,800 and $120,300.
