- Track and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets
- Post monthly journal entries and accruals
- Conduct accounting reconciliations and analysis
- Identify and correct financial discrepancies
- Prepare closing schedules for month-end and year-end
- Create financial statement packages for investors/owners
- Assist in audit workpapers preparation
- Address inquiries from various stakeholders
- Support budget preparation
- Stay updated on regulations and laws
- Perform other assigned tasks
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with accounting software, preferably Yardi
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
