    Technical Business Data Analyst - Banking - W2 Only

    Location: Plano, TX

    Duration: 12-24 Months

    HYBRID ONLY in Dallas Metro area, TX

    W2 only Opening - Client only accepts W-2 Candidates

    The successful candidate will define the end-to-end requirements to support the target business process within Treasury. The candidate will contribute to the software development lifecycle of products and services from inception stage through to the final implementation. The candidate would be required to work closely with the developers to define, build and test the solution, often working on multiple projects/work-streams at the same time.

    Required skills: Prior Banking /Capital Markets Experience is a MUST******

    Knowledge of Risk management concepts & capital requirements ( Counterparty Credit, market, operational, liquidity, RWA & Basel capital ratios ) (preferable)

    Experience working on reporting space either on finance or risk data (preferable)

    Knowledge of financial products ( Futures, vanilla options, swaps, mortgage products) (nice to have)

    Knowledge of accounting concepts ( cash flow, P&L, Balance sheet ) (nice to have)

    Required Technical Skills:

    10+ years' experience with at least 5 + years' experience as a Business Data Analyst

    Delivery focused techno-functional role.

    Candidates must have experience in Oracle/PL SQL or ETL/Informatica or Java

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculations

    Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (Basel, CRR, CRD IV etc.)

    Attention to detail and self-starter, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills

    Ability to work across multiple business groups and domains

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure

    Collaborative, with an ability to share information, transfer knowledge and train new team members

    Proven ability to balance business demands of different stakeholders and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility

    Experience building high-performance, enterprise applications at scale.

    Technical skills:

    Excel and SQL querying skills (must have with a rating 7 and above)

    Tableau, Qlik & Alteryx (overview and some working knowledge of any BI tools) (preferable)

    Experience working with and analyzing large (above 100k records) data sets (preferable)

    Python, R etc. (if we are looking for data analyst though I am not an expert at this) (nice to have)

    Knowledge of any programming language (nice to have)

    Client core skills:

    Ability to work on JIRA workflow, Confluence/MS teams etch (must have)

    Ability to create visualization and screen mockup (must have)

    Ability to create BRD, FRD and technical data flow diagrams after getting user requirements (must have)

    Experience in conducting and facilitating UAT (preferable)

    Experience in managing PROD release and post PROD validations (preferable)

    Preferably worked on banking applications in finance, risk, treasury or core banking space (nice to have)
