    Social Media Coordinator/Marketing-Business Development Assistant (Full-Time)

    IN OFFICE REQUIRED

    The Social Media Coordinator/Marketing-Business Development Assistant plays a key role in managing and creating content for John Canning & Co. social media channels. This individual must be creative, organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. Working closely with various internal teams, the candidate will be responsible for producing engaging social media content that aligns with the company's brand identity.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Daily management of social media channels to support marketing and sales strategies.
    • Creation of regular content for various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Youtube, and LinkedIn.
    • Scheduling and monitoring of social media posts.
    • Development of unique and on-brand content ideas.
    • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate content creation.
    • Creation of compelling and platform-appropriate social media copy.
    • Monitoring and engagement with online communities.
    • Performance analysis and reporting.
    • Research on emerging social platforms and features.
    • Assistance with social media marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Newsletter, article, and press release creation.
    • Website marketing tasks.
    • Support for the marketing and media teams.

    Skills & Experience:

    • 1-5 years of experience in social media marketing or content development.
    • Track record of creating engaging social media content.
    • Proficiency in major social media platforms and management tools.
    • Strong written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • Creative mindset.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Project management abilities.
    • Video and photo editing proficiency.
    • Microsoft Office and Wordpress knowledge.
    • Basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
    • Collaborative and able to work independently.
    • Standard work week, Monday to Friday.
