    Description

    Senior Software Engineer ( Go / gRPC / AWS ) - Hybrid in Plano, TX - Long term renewing contract

    Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 10 automotive company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team in building industry-leading user experiences and new technologies to support their vehicles worldwide. You have the opportunity to become part of a highly iterative agile environment to deliver quality high-performing products relating to Machine Learning, AI, automated speech recognition, IOT Devices, Telematics, and more. You will write scalable, robust, and easy-to-maintain code that is revolutionizing car cabin tech of the future

    Experience of the right candidate:

    • 6+ years of experience in back end development
    • 3+ years of Go, gRPC experience
    • 3+ years of cloud experience (AWS, GCP, etc.)

    Technical Environment: Go, gRPC, MongoDB, Datadog, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

    We will be putting a high emphasis on:

    • Creating low-latency microservices using gRPC protocols
    • Working on an entire suite of products, not just one application or initiative
    • Utilizing your AWS Cloud and CI/CD skills
