- Coordination of environmental health practitioner staff assignments.
- Permit application reviews including onsite inspections.
- Staff training.
- Quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
- Liaison with other governmental agencies.
- Public education and maintaining specific databases.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University with a minimum of 30 semester hours or equivalent of basic sciences acceptable to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Eligible candidate should be a licensed Environmental Health Practitioner with three (3) years' experience in Environmental Health and
- Preferably two (2) years' experience in a private sewage and/or potable water program and/or water laboratory.
- May consider an applicant without licensure provided the applicant has relevant experience and meets the minimum qualifications to become licensed within 1 year.
