We are in search of a Business Development Manager to take a lead role in managing business development activity of assigned sales territories.

This individual will formulate sales objectives, policies, and other pertinent programs to promote and maximize sales in an assigned territory.

We are an established Westerville-based global leader supporting advanced scientific research in measurement and control solutions that drive the discovery and development of new materials for tomorrow's technologies.

Manage all aspects of assigned direct sales territory
a - Technical analysis of customer applications and requirements
b - Evaluation and processing of customer RFQ, quality, and export requirements,
e - Order taking, issuance of order entry and export compliance documentation
Plan and coordinate travel by company staff in support of customers

Travel regularly to visit with customers to support their activities and maximize sales
Target other markets to grow revenue
Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Physics degree preferred)
4+ years' relevant experience in technical sales or business development in research/scientific market
4+ years' experience in capital equipment or OEM sales preferred
Prior sales experience with measurement and/or scientific equipment is preferred
Proven track record of success in building customer relationships, closing sales and meeting sales goals
