The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full-time Research Scientist I position at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with all IRB submissions and ensure ethics compliance across the Center
  • Coordinate the activities of a team of volunteers conducting research activities related to the Mental Wellness Equity Center
  • Take minutes and distribute action points for all Equity Center meetings and activities
  • Assist with qualitative data collection, coding, and analysis
  • Assist with the development of hybrid multimedia training materials to support training of the workforce
  • Assist with planning for all trainingrelated activities for the workforce

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree and two years of professional research experience in an appropriate field
  • A master's degree in an appropriate field may substitute for one year of the experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with qualitative research methods
  • Proficiency in Spanish
