    Description

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION ARE LISTED BELOW:
    Must be customer friendly and be able to greet patients.

    Must be able to check-in patients, collect/update insurance information, and collect/update patient information.


    Must be able to answer multiple telephone lines and schedule appointments, as well as record/note purpose of visit for all new and existing patients.

    Must possess good organizational skills and be able to multi-task.

    Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.

    Must maintain confidentiality of patient records.

    Must have good typing skills.

    Must organize and maintain patient files.

    Must be a self starter. Must complete daily tasks with minimal supervision.


    Must know how to process a credit card machine and receive all other forms of payment such as co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance etc.

    Must have good math skills.

    Must be willing to learn how to process insurance claims and interact with insurance companies. More specifically making calls to verify insurance policies and inquire about unpaid patient claims.

    Must be able to answer patients questions about their policy benefits.

    Must be able to make follow-up calls to attorneys regarding personal injury patient cases.

    Must be able familiar with Microsoft Word Suites. Quickly learn office software - Chiro8000.

    Must be able to schedule/change and remove appointments Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software and internet in order to enter, access, or retrieve data.

    Must keep office area clean. Must sanitize exam tables after each use.

    Must maintain office inventory.

    Must arrive at work on time. Must be able to work flexible hours as late as 7:30pm on an as needed basis.
