    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems. This includes handling specialized repairs in specific technical areas of expertise. Additionally, they are tasked with performing various general maintenance duties to ensure the proper upkeep of the grounds, facility, and overall site. The role may also involve providing oversight for plant operation and shifts when required.

    EDUCATION:

    • High School (GED) education and a State Journeyman's License in one of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, or Chief Engineer or class II (NILUPE).
    • In lieu of licensure, a significant number of years' experience in a particular specialty trade may be considered. Examples of these specialty trades include HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, or over five years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, carpentry, or plumbing trade.
    • Must hold a valid Vermont driver's license with a clean driving record.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Applicants should have two to three years of relevant experience in related trades.
