    Description
    Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks
    • Machine Set up and Maintenance
    • Process Control and Monitoring
    • Defect Detection and Troubleshooting
    • Quality Assurance
    • Safety Compliance
    • Responsible for knowing and following all environmental, health, and safety rules, policies, and procedures for work area and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    Education and Experience

    3-5 years experience hands-on die-casting experience with familiarity and knowledge of various die-casting machines, tools, and equipment

    Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of die-cast components

    Accountability, and problem-solving skills

    Basic knowledge of hoists for set-up purposes

    Physical Demands
    Occasional lifting and carrying of 50 lbs, frequent lifting and carrying of 21 to 49 pounds, continuous lifting and carrying of 1 to 20 pounds, continuous standing, walking, pull and pushing

    Continuous twisting and bending, reach(overhead and out-stretched) and kneeling, climbing, crawling, bending and stooping

    Continuous repetitive motion, use of vibratory tools, grip, torque and fine manipulation, handling/grasping

    Continuous exposure to hot and cold temperature

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously exposed to moving mechanical parts; extreme heat and vibration.

    The noise level in the work environment is continuously very loud.
