- General Summary of Position Responsible for all sales activities, from prospecting through to close, in the given territory. Develop and implement an agreed upon area plan which will meet the business goals of profitable growth to the customer base through a customer centric approach.
- Essential Duties
- This Function is the key interface with clients & potential clients
- Ensure year over year sales and profitability growth
- Utilize best practice methods to provide expert sales and technical guidance for various customers.
- Identifies the current market position of Fluitron in the given territory in terms of customer base, sales, profitability, SWOT and competition.
- Defines, develops, and executes an annual market plan for the area based on an agreed upon sales and profitability targets with the Sales Director. The plan must include targets and activities for the following:
- Order Intake
- Invoice Sales
- Market Share
- Target Customers
- Work with Engineering, QHSE, Supply Chain and our plant as well as outsourced partners to deliver a robust and reliable product.
- Travel when needed, at times could be in excess of 30%.
- Translate commercial terms, to clear, well-defined scope to support delivery certainty.
- Update sales pipeline regularly.
- Assist Director of Sales with the development of Commercial Proposals and Pricing.
- Become fluent with ERP/CRM/Various IT Tools and assist with updating Sales/Order forecast.
- Ensure compliance of bid documents for completeness of information, gathering/updating market price, and ensure overall quality of the technical and commercial bid.
- Develop long term service agreements, support sales upgrades and repairs and spare parts orders.
- Schedule regular sales calls with key and prospective accounts.
- Increase brand recognition by participating in conferences, trade shows, and regional/national/international events.
- Comfortable making presentations to Customers and other stakeholders
- Work professionally as a team with all others in Fluitron to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Report to the Director of Sales with weekly updates on job-related matters.
- Professionalism, regular attendance, and punctuality are required.
- Follows policies and procedures.
- Operates safely in all conditions.

- Qualifications
- +1 years work experience
- Degreed professional – Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
- Demonstrable track record of value creation.
- Knowledge in mechanical and/or chemical engineering (knowledge in reciprocating compressors of industrial gases would be an asset)
- knowledgeable with Return on Investment calculations and justifications
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
