- Manage and build client relationships
- Review federal & state tax returns and research of staff
- Training and mentoring of staff
- Assist with the preparation of complex tax returns and tax research
- Recognize, anticipate and provide resolutions on tax issues
- Represent clients before taxing authorities in audits, disputes, and notice resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required with a minimum of 5 years experience in tax with a public accounting firm or internal tax department
- CPA certification required
- Ability to identify and mitigate tax risks; experience in tax research; high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Possess the ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, while also building strong partner relationships
- Ability to learn new tasks as well as accept directions on given assignments
- Possess strong organizational and analytical skills
