We're in search of a Sheet Metal/Mechanical Engineer with expertise in sheet metal fabrication to join our team at Roseville Precision, Inc. - Programming sheet metal components for Amada Punch and Amada Fiber Laser, or the ability to pick up this skill swiftly.
- Utilizing Solid Works and CAD/CAM files (knowledge of AP100US would be advantageous).
- Producing detailed form or weld drawings for the workshop.
- Experience in routing and quoting.
- Assessing and enhancing job instructions, materials, and routers for precision and efficiency.
- Minimum of 5-10 years in the sheet metal industry.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D, FabriWin/AP100, and AutoCAD.
- Capability to program parts for laser and punch machinery.
- Creating and inspecting flat-pattern layouts.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Familiarity with various sheet metal processes.
- Preference for candidates with welding or forming backgrounds.
- Experience in team management is beneficial.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints.
- Solid understanding of bending calculations and flat pattern layout.
- Effective communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Capability to design and construct fixtures.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
