    Position Description:


    Under supervision, perform engineering and testing assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications.

    Apply sound engineering judgment. Perform as a technical contributor on projects. Interface with engineering peers, senior engineers, and program managers to receive tasks. Work within a team to promptly complete tasks. Communicate effectively to accomplish assignments and support others in accomplishing their assignments.

    Responsibilities:
    Conduct structural and thermal FEA on rocket motor components
    Prepare engineering drawings
    Participate in hardware assembly and testing activities
    Participate in customer meetings and reviews

    Requirements:
    Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)
    Bachelor of Science required in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
    Up to three (3) years of mechanical engineering experience
    Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    Working knowledge of CAD software
    Understanding of finite element analysis
    Aptitude for working with mechanical and electrical systems
    Must be able to travel approximately 20% of the time.

    Preferences:
    Rocket motor design and testing

    $66,203 - $118,877
