JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer at Tri Tool

POSITION SUMMARY: Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer at Tri Tool. We are on the lookout for someone who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where technical challenges are met with innovative solutions. As part of this role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise by designing custom equipment that meets our customers' unique needs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, outgoing, and committed to continuous learning and development.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Support business development activities, including accompanying salespersons on sales calls and assisting with customer inquiries.
Develop conceptual proposals, Solidworks models, and technical documentation.
Act as a technical liaison between different departments and customers.
Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to solve problems and enhance product innovation.

Assigned projects involve: bill of materials, materials selection, electromechanical system design, and more.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools.

- Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing methods.

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in part design for Additive Manufacturing and CNC machine design.

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Able to wear necessary safety equipment.

Regularly engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, and using hand tools.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Primarily office-based with occasional fieldwork and travel requirements. May work in a shop/plant environment.

PAY RANGE:

$105,000 to $120,000 per year
