Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Service Technician we select will be able to run demand service and planned service as needed. Technician job responsibilities are: equipment maintenance & repair, identify current/potential problems during the maintenance/repair visit that affects current/future performance, explaining the technical talk in a way the customer understands when making recommendations, ability to document all system information, good completion notes, and any necessary follow up needed with the customers, Provide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, repairs, accessories and other comfort/operational improvements, Provide customers with opportunity to look at system upgrades when the cost of the repair can exceed the value of the equipment, is unrepairable, in poor condition, or they desire lower utility bills.
Positive Attitude is a must.
Need to be a self-starter
Two or more years of experience in HVAC Service.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Working knowledge of codes and best practices a plus
Basic Refrigerant Certifications (EPA Universal).
A valid driver's license and strong communication skills.
Willingness and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Working knowledge of electrical and gas diagnostics and air flow.
