    **IT Service Manager**

    Detroit, MI

    Full-Time

    Macro Connect is a growing team working out of a historic former police station near Eastern Market in Detroit. We are a managed service provider focused on helping schools and businesses achieve breakthrough performance by leveraging technology.

    Our goal is to hire a Service Manager that fits with our company values and can provide extraordinary mentorship to our operations practice leads to deliver exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for someone who loves to dig deep into metrics and excels at holding others accountable, but also has the deep technical skills and willingness to do the hands on work to implement solutions for our clients. An ability to help build the skillsets of the team is equally important.

    Relevant skills:

    Experience communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical people

    Experience managing employee growth plans and supporting staff to attain them

    Excels in analyzing numbers and holding others accountable, to ensure that risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated and that services and projects are delivered successfully through to production

    Awareness of all outstanding customer pre and post-delivery issues and ability to provide status to clients as necessary

    Organizational skills to provide ongoing status updates on department progress and to prioritize/optimize resource allocation

    Network infrastructure implementation and support experience : hands-on and department leadership experience for environments with physical and virtual servers, routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, cloud services (Google G Suite and Office 365), Active Directory

    Ability to design and maintain process documentation

    Strong written skills for communicating with clients via ticketing system

    Minimum Requirements:

    Relevant degree/certifications or 5+ years of experience in an IT project implementation and team leadership role

    Reliable transportation for use during business hours

    Ability to be a self-starter, who can be trusted to work largely unsupervised

    Ability to pass a criminal background check in order to be eligible to work in schools

    Job Type: Full-time

    **Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and skillset**
