We specialize in developing and producing top-tier industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, which include high-efficiency power management and climate control systems for various applications such as industrial, data center, outdoor, and hybrid environments.

    As the Account Manager, your main focus will revolve around driving business growth through methods like cold calling, building pipelines, and successfully closing deals driven by the Industrial Automation sector for Rittal. Your responsibilities will include leading, executing, and overseeing the entire sales process within your designated territory. Collaboration with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Key Account Management teams is crucial to coordinate projects effectively and ensure that your targets and objectives are met. You will play a pivotal role in generating sales and promoting business within your assigned area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Promote and present Rittal's comprehensive industrial product range to both potential and existing customers.
    • Cultivate direct business partnerships and engage in ongoing dialogues to offer tailored solutions for customer projects.
    • Effectively communicate and showcase Rittal's product range to potential and current clients.
    • Collaborate with Specifying Engineers, End Users, Distributors, Resellers, and Manufacturer Representatives.
    • Evaluate customer product requirements and collaborate with Rittal's field sales experts to deliver a complete range of product solutions.
    • Manage existing accounts, secure orders, and establish new accounts by engaging with current or potential clients in your allocated territory.
    • Concentrate sales efforts by analyzing past issues and interactions with existing accounts. Adjust sales presentations content accordingly based on the evaluation of accounts.
    • Provide monthly activity-reports and territory analyses to management for updated progress tracking.
    • Monitor competitors' activities by gathering current market data related to pricing, products, new releases, and account information.
    • Handle customer complaints by investigating issues, developing effective solutions, and presenting recommendations to management.
    • Enhance sales performance and market presence within a specific territory by engaging with customers daily, following up on leads, and conducting cold calls.
    • Collaborate closely with the inside sales team to ensure product availability and resolve technical customer support matters.
    • Participate in networking events within your designated region.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree.
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience is desired.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial sales is mandatory.
    • Proven track record of identifying potential new customers and fostering relationships to drive revenue growth.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management tools is advantageous.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
