I am a quality engineer with experience in working with federally regulated assemblies that have Class A surfaces in the automotive industry. Additionally, I am skilled at transforming root cause analyses developing quality control plans,  PFMEAs, and submitting PPAPs.   

Quality Engineering: As the Quality Engineer for North American Lighting, I am often tasked with ensuring parts for different vehicles are up to our standards with respect to quality and functionality. In just 12 months, I have developed the quality system for two projects in which by developing control plans, part inspection standards, and develop part validation testing  for Tier 1 supplier to Toyota and Nissan. 

Engineering: At Airmate Company where I was an engineering manager, my engineering expertise led to the company saving 40% within six months on manufacturing costs because I built a machine that streamlined the assembly processes for installing windows in industrial electrical boxes.  

Team Leadership: I am an engaging mentor and coach. When I was the Engineering manager at Airmate, I was part of the team the interviewed perspective candidates, and then selecting the best one for the position.  Furthermore, I had to train the employees on the best practices for estimating, and programming CNC machines.

Dimensional Lab Technician                        February 2016 – July 2019 

Supported equipment quality control by ensuring all tests and measurement equipment were calibrated according to company standards.   Programed and operated a Coordinate-Measuring Machine (CMM) to calibrate gages.  Operated a ROMER arm and ATOS scanner to verify part quality by interpreting engineering instructions to create reports.
