    Lead Pega Developer

    111884

    Zurich North America is currently hiring a Lead Pega Developer and this person will work in a hybrid schedule from our Schaumburg, IL North America Headquarters.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop Pega applications for Zurich North America claims systems which are internal and external facing for customers.
    • Interact with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development life cycle
    • Development in a Agile/Scrum development methodology

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area OR
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area OR
    • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area AND
    • Experience assisting with design, coding benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs
    • Experience working with multiple phases of software systems programming applications
    • Experience working with multiple programming languages

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Pega Certification preferred.
    • 5 plus years' experience developing applications on Pega Systems
    • Insurance Industry Experience
    • Experience in working in a distributed team environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
