Our client is a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company and they are hiring a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Johnston. As a Customer Service Representative you will join the Consumer Unsecured Merchant Financing team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service delivery by acting as a liaison between the applicants/customers and our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to advocate on behalf of the customer, addressing inquiries, providing support solutions, and fostering positive customer relationships. If you are able to work Monday - Friday 3:30pm - Midnight and 1 weekend day then this is the role for you.

    salary: $19 - $20 per hour
    shift: First
    work hours: 3:30 PM - 12 AM
    education: High School

    Responsibilities

    As a Customer Service Representative, Job duties include:

    • Act as an advocate for applicants/customers, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
    • Offer appropriate service and support solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships with our partners.
    • Identify and respond to customer inquiries by actively listening to their concerns and needs.
    • Provide accurate information regarding credit decisions based on submitted applications.
    • Able to think fast, find answers, and respond quickly to customer issues, all with a polite, empathic, and professional voice and manner.
    • Record all expressions of dissatisfaction in our system of record for further analysis and improvement.

    Skills:

    • 2+ years of experience providing world-class customer service.
    • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts and information rapidly.
    • Efficient problem solver with the ability to identify and resolve issues for customers.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Exceptional listening skills with a keen ability to navigate through difficult situations while maintaining professionalism.
    • Ability to work 3:30 pm - Midnight Monday - Friday and 1 weekend day.
