We are looking for you to strengthen our development team in Charlottesville.

What to expect:

  • As part of our embedded Linux team, you will implement software requirements for application areas ranging from mechanical engineering to medical technology
  • You will create board support packages for Linux-based touch panel PCs
  • You will commission new hardware and software components
  • You will adapt and develop Linux kernel drivers
  • You will make adjustments to the bootloader and Linux kernel and port them to our ARM and x86-based hardware platforms
  • You will create software specifications and documentation
  • You will develop software tests for quality assurance and integrate them

What you bring:

  • You have a degree in (technical) computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • You have experience in Linux software development and are familiar with build systems such as Yocto
  • You have first experience in adapting Linux kernel drivers or working with the Linux kernel
  • You have a strong interest in developing innovative products
  • You are proficient in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting
  • You also have excellent German language skills
