- Maintain and update financial records, including but not limited to ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Record and classify financial transactions with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Help drive the accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and reports on a regular basis.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and support any exam requests as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Assist with addressing audit findings and implement resolutions.

- Support tax preparation process as needed.
- Support with monitoring company cash position.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
- Finra series 7 and 24 certification is not required but nice to have
- Ability to manage multiple legal entities and track intercompany transactions
- Experience with quickbooks and Netsuite
- Ability to consolidate multiple trial balances in excel.
- Proven experience as a staff accountant, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
