- Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Process and reconcile bank transactions, credit card statements, and expense reports
- Prepare monthly financial statements like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist with annual audit and tax return preparation
- Support in developing annual budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Perform other assigned duties
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Experience with larger ERP systems

LHH is collaborating with a fast-growing Non-Profit organization based in San Francisco that is in search of a skilled staff accountant to join their team. This company is dedicated to maintaining an exceptional workplace culture while making a positive impact on the community. They are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced staff accountant to oversee the daily accounting operations.
Employment Type: Contract
Attribute offerings include health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan. Our program offers employees the flexibility to select coverage that suits their needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, as required by law, and other paid leave mandated by Federal, State, or local regulations, as well as Holiday pay based on eligibility.
Pay Details: $38.00 to $45.00 per hour
