    Anyscale, a San Francisco based high-tech AI startup, is on the hunt for a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of accounting principles and possess hands-on experience managing financial records and reports within the fast-paced environment of AI technology.

    This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, thus contributing significantly to our financial health and compliance within the cutting-edge realm of AI innovation.


    This individual will be excited to collaborate with their coworkers in person at our SF office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.


    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions
    • Systems administrator for internal financial systems: , Expensify and Netsuite
    • Manage financial reporting hierarchy
    • Assist in preparation of accurate monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
    • Perform bank reconciliations and conduct regular ledger maintenance
    • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
    • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
    • Stay updated with industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and company policies

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • 3+ years of accounting experience
    • 1+ years of experience in a tech startup environment
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
    • Proficiency in accounting software and systems
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    $120,000 - $166,800 a year

    At Anyscale, we take a market-based approach to compensation. We are data-driven, transparent, and consistent. The target salary for this role is $120,000 - $166,800. As the market data and your performance changes over time, the target salary for this role may be adjusted.
