    Youd like to do this:

    We are seeking a Chief Systems Engineer for a major upcoming program. The qualified candidate would be responsible for leading the systems engineering and development efforts on a ground based Space Domain Awareness (SDA) program. The ideal person would have experience executing large ACAT-1 or equivalent programs. Systems Engineers on this program will collaborate on small and large teams working on a variety of tasks including:

    • Contributing to the development of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirement's Specifications, Interface Control Documents, System Integration Plans, and Test Plans.
    • Being responsible for the requirements management: generation, analysis, decomposition, and review with customers.
    • Development of concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system/subsystem requirements specifications.
    • Lead design/development activities.
    • Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
    • Communicate with other program personnel, customers, and senior executives.
    • Support lab and field test/acceptance testing.
    • Develop Interface Control Specifications for SDA EO/IR systems and support systems.
    Youre required to have this:
    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
    • 10+ years experience as a Systems Engineer.
    • Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
    • Experience with EO/IR systems.
    • Experience in Space Domain Awareness Programs
    • Strong technical writing skills applicable to engineering documentation (analysis reports, specifications, requirements documents, etc.).
    • Ability, and willingness, to travel at least 15%.
    • Current DoD Top Secret SCI security clearance.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree Engineering.
    • Experience executing classified programs.
    • Experience with Military Systems.
    • Experience with Directed Energy Systems.
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to change based on project needs.
    • Multi-tasking and ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
    • Experience executing system programs from concept development and program kick-off through post-delivery support.
