Full-time Infection Disease Physician- Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, New York

Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, just 75 minutes north of New York City in the Mid-Hudson Valley, is seeking a 6th full-time Infectious Disease physician to join its established and busy employed practice. The position covers both the inpatient and outpatient settings with the outpatient office conveniently located in a suite across the street from the hospital. The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible Infectious Disease physician. There is some teaching of medicine residents and medical students. We also welcomed our first year of ID fellows in 2023. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and allowances for CMEs/Dues expenses and relocation. Experience/interest in Infection Control and/or Antibiotic Stewardship are a plus.

Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a brand new 696,000-square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care and womens health services.
