Marist College, NY is home to the Gesundheitscampus Wesel, which brings together six different departments, all with a focus on health.

These departments include the Evangelical Hospital, the Medical Care Center, senior and nursing facilities, the Visalis Therapy Center Niederrhein, outpatient care, and palliative care.

With over 1,400 employees, the Gesundheitscampus Wesel offers a unique network of various health service providers, from outpatient to inpatient, at its location on Schermbecker Landstraße in Wesel and at external locations in the region, providing comprehensive "medicine and care from one source.

We are currently seeking a part-time (25 hours/week) Medical Transcriptionist to join our team.

Our central services and administration are essential for the smooth operation of the entire Gesundheitscampus


This includes four areas:
personnel, finance, and performance management, as well as resources, IT, and technology. The corresponding departments work together to manage and continuously develop our processes and structures.


Responsibilities:


  • Creating patient histories and supporting the medical transcription office with all administrative and organizational tasks
  • Corresponding with doctors, internal specialist and laboratory departments, and external contacts
  • Processing telephone and/or electronic requests for test results from patients and treating physicians
  • Conducting computerbased record documentation
  • Preparing physician letters and printing and sending test result letters
  • Maintaining and managing master data and ensuring timely work processes
