    Description

    Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, corporate credit card reconciliations, employee expenses, and various other transactional data. This position performs a range of general bookkeeping & accounting support functions for the department.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Collect and record Vendors & Suppliers invoices in the ERP system
    • Process payments on a weekly basis
    • Reconcile Suppliers monthly statements
    • Record weekly bank transactions
    • Monthly credit card reconciliations
    • Process employee expense reports
    • Review and submit invoice batches before final billing
    • Maintain petty cash
    • Update vendor's records in the ERP system
    • File, distribute mail and perform other administrative/clerical tasks
    • Assist with Month-End accounting process

    Education/Experience:

    • 2+ years' experience in accounting
    • Microsoft Office experience with strong Excel skills (pivot Table, vlook up, etc.).
    • Quickbooks experience preferred
