- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of full and part time desk representative staff across multiple desks, buildings or programs.
- Responsible for ensuring desk staffing is in alignment with budgeted FTE allocations. In conjunction with the site management and HR, this role will be responsible for desk staffing including; recruitment, hiring, onboarding and training in accordance with Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
- Provide strong performance management to all direct reports including; regular supervision, coaching, goal planning and development, confliction mediation and resolution, diseplenary action and termination as needed in accordance with Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
- Ensure completion of all regular business operations pertaining to the desk including scheduling, review and approve the bi-weekly time records of assigned staff according to organizational guidelines.
- Within the framework of the Housing Division's separate and coordinated model, ensure that staff are working collaboratively across departments. Develop and facilitate touch points for interdepartmental collaboration, such as huddles. Ensure documentation and data collection (including journal, observation and incident reports) are completed according to procedure and adhere to program policies.
- Have strong knowledge of Catholic Charities policies and procedures, develop a strong commitment to the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction. Understand and utilize the principles of Restorative Justice and within the program, as required.
- Support site based managers with daily operations as needed including assisting with tasks such as unit inspections, wellness checks, and medication passing as needed and appropriate within the program.
- Work flexible hours, including overnights, holidays and weekends in order to provide regular supervision to front desk and monitor operations during the various hours that the program operates. Responsible for filling open shifts.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Associates degree with 1 year of relevant experience, 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience working with information and computer-based programs required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights in order to provide effective and regular staff supervision and monitoring of Program activities required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License; reliable vehicle with insurance coverage
- Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.

JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is seeking a self-motivated leader who is dedicated, resourceful, compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to serve as a Housing Support Manager at its Higher Ground - St Paul location.
In conjunction with the Program Manager, this position is responsible for staff supervision for a particular unit and/or program area at the assigned program site. Facilitate and support staff development to provide clients with information, customer service and empowerment education. Provide in-service training to staff, both in a group setting and one-on-one. Ensure the program provides a clean, safe and secure environment. Assists in coordinating services with vendors and within the agency and other external parties, to provide appropriate communication flow.
