    SUMMARY:
    A Dallas headquartered IT consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team leading and managing cross-functional teams with Scrum Master responsibilities. This opportunity is with a long-term client requiring you to be onsite in Irving Texas.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The perfect fit for this position is someone who communicates clearly and directly, with a knack for problem-solving and delivering high value efficiently. They excel in teamwork and have a genuine enthusiasm for technology and ongoing learning. Additionally, this role may span across various business areas within the organization such as Finance, Sales, Products, Transactions, Communications, and Customer Support.
    • Oversee all activities and tasks of assigned project(s), including coordination with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other Project Managers.
    • Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
    • Serve as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Coach and mentor team members on Agile/Scrum best practices, ensuring adherence to principles.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, aligning with predefined parameters.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
    • Drive continuous improvement within the team by implementing lessons learned and optimizing processes.
    • Communicate project status, progress, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency within the project team.
    • Track and report project financials from forecast to actual.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
    • Proven success in managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
    • Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum principles with practical experience in a software development environment.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in MS Office suite.
    • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills.
    • High integrity, respect, honesty, and trustworthiness.
    • Excellent business and financial analysis skills.
