Sims, IN is looking for a full-time Project Manager (m/f/d) for our plant construction department, starting immediately.


As a Project Manager (m/f/d) at Sims, IN, you will focus on ensuring a technically sound and successful project process in plant construction for measurement and testing technology, in close collaboration with our clients.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Project management: organizing, controlling, and monitoring the project from the kickoff meeting to commissioning
  • Development, planning, and design of process engineering plants
  • Coordination of project processes with our clients
  • Leadership responsibility for internal processes
  • Coordination with our suppliers and service providers, as well as technical procurement
  • Creation, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Coordination with our designers for electrical, mechanical, and software construction
  • Coordination and monitoring of the interlocking trades and scheduling
  • Cost control during the project process

Your qualifications:

  • Technical degree or completed training as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration with a focus on production and logistics
  • Experience in project management or similar is desirable
  • Teamwork, convincing communication, assertiveness, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
