Description

The Quality Engineer will provide experienced quality support to the customer service teams, quality engineers, quality assurance and the business management system.

Duties include creating the company's quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability and performance.

Quality engineers are also responsible for the creation of documentation that reports issues and errors relating to the production process with efforts placed to find a solution.

Duties / Responsibilities
design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and ensure compliance.
that products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
the customer service team by providing analysis/monitoring and expertise throughout the organizational processes related to the BMS.
root causes of problems in the BMS process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.

data to identify trends in product quality/delivery or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.

manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.
customer requirements and contractual obligations as it pertains to the BMS and related processes of the organization.
other duties as assigned.
and establish quality assurance measures for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing processes throughout their development/product lifecycles.
with vendors and suppliers in assessing applications and/or systems under consideration for purchase.
documentation and technical specifications of any new application under development or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for and corresponding documentation.
BMS system issues and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
and conducts business in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Promotes ethical behavior by acting with honesty and integrity.

Required Skills / Abilities
organizational skills and attention to detail.
knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn processes.
interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
analytical and problem-solving skills.
with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
ability to multi-task efficiently.
prioritize and mange tasks in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience
degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
least five years of related experience required; supervisory experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
