Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our products' quality standards. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System, conducting internal audits, and analyzing quality performance data. If you have a passion for quality improvement and a background in engineering, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) by maintaining procedures and coordinating audits
Conduct internal audits, train auditors, and implement corrective actions
Assess quality performance using statistical methods
Implement procedures for inspecting and testing products
Develop quality systems, inspection plans, and technical quality plans
Ensure compliance of project documentation
Analyze and determine costs of nonconforming materials
Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality performance and corrective actions
Participate in failure analysis and corrective action investigations
Design inspection mechanisms and conduct quality assurance tests
Develop sampling plans and statistical process controls

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
Two or more years of related experience
American Society for Quality certification desired
Knowledge of quality engineering techniques and regulations
Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
Ability to apply continuous improvement principles
