Position Description
A Technician at IPC has the critical responsibility of repairing and maintaining the many types of games and attractions we offer.
Requirements and Perks:
Two or more years of experience in the game room industry as a Technician is preferred, but not required
Ability to repair and maintain various types of amusement equipment including go karts, bumper cars, and video games
Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and computer equipment repair
Strong critical thinking skills to work through technical problems and find solutions
Ability to order parts and maintain inventory
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment
Ability to move supplies and equipment, requires being in good physical condition with good physical strength
Possess excellent planning, organization and implementation skills
Perform duties as assigned by Head Technician
Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous way
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well-groomed and neat appearance
2 weeks of PTO after one year of employment (can use 1 week after 6 months of employment) for employees who average at least 32 hours of work per week for each anniversary date
Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees who average at least 30 hours of work per week for 90 days
Discounts for immediate family members on meals and game play
This is a part-time position This is a part-time position with a varying schedule. Weekends and evenings may be required. Compensation is based upon experience.
