- Leadership role with a Testing focus: Test Director, Product Owner, Scrum Master.
- Support test strategy development, system level integration and test planning, design, and execution.
- Develop test plans, test procedures, and test cases, incorporating automation where possible.
- Perform integration and test activities in-house or at site locations.
- Utilize DOORS to capture verification artifacts and maintain traceability to requirements.

- Experience in scripting and automation techniques or methodologies.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret (or higher) Security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Current Top-Secret clearance is preferred.
- Experience in the operation, test, and troubleshooting of Naval systems.
- Experience using DOORS for requirements management and linking requirements to test procedures.
- Development of integration, verification, and validation planning documentation of integration and test plans, procedures, reports, status reports, and other related documentation.
- Experience with agile development, including project estimating, reporting, and backlog management.
- Experience with automated test scripting and automated data analysis.
- Experience with DevSecOps/TDD/BDD; Security+.
- Experience with MATLAB.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.

The Systems Test Engineer within the Systems Excellence Department contributes through all phases of the product development lifecycle (i.e. systems and software requirements, system architecture and design, software integration and test, simulation and test, integration and test, verification and sell-off), within an interdisciplinary process that ensures the customer and warfighters needs are satisfied through every stage. Our team of talented engineers collaborates across disciplines from initial concepts to product sell off, integrates complex technology, debugs, and resolves interface issues, evaluates system performance, demonstrates, and sells off state-of-the-art products.
The selected applicant will join a team of talented engineers with integration and test of sophisticated naval and maritime systems in support of the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, as part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS). The U.S. Navy's CEC, a real-time 'sensor-netting' system that brings together radar data into a single integrated air picture from geographically dispersed ships, aircraft, and ground-based units. This integrated picture improves a battlegroup's effectiveness by enabling longer range, cooperative, or layered engagements. Today's CEC benefits from advancements in commercial and specialized technologies, as well as from the experience and expertise of the Collins Aerospace team, continually innovating to advance capability and performance.
