The Position:

The purpose of this position is to assemble, commission, ship and support our products.


This position reports to the Production and Delivery Coordinator and will perform all electronic and mechanical assembly functions, packing and shipping, as well as commissioning and firmware flashing.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Become familiar with and keep up with product knowledge, their components, installation and troubleshooting as well as internal policies and procedures to properly assemble and support customers.
  • Learn NetSuite (our ERP system) and our workflow.
  • Follow the assembly instructions soldering and connecting the components according to the specifications.
  • Ensure that the products have the correct firmware versions and follow the commissioning requirements to design the networks and to commission the devices accordingly.
  • Perform quality checks on each step to ensure proper electronic functionalities as well as the correct firmware package and version and to ensure that the commissioned products comply with customer's requirements.
  • Get products finished, tested, cleaned, bagged, labeled and ready for shipment.
  • Maintaining the work areas clean, neat and organized to facilitate lean production.

Required experience & qualifications:


  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience in electronics technology.
  • 3 years experience with home, building, industrial automation or A/V integration.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts and engineering drawings.
  • Able to use hand tools including but not limited to calipers, strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills.
  • Soldering certification and experience.
  • Prior technical support experience is required for this position: Must be able and willing to interact with customers both written and verbal communications in a professional manner.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Proficient with Excel or Numbers (to run reports, exports, imports, V Lookups).
  • Must be able to work under pressure: There will be pressure to complete administrative tasks and resolution of support issues and warranty repairs.
  • Some travel may be required for onsite trouble shooting and repairs.

The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on quarterly random screen.


Offered salary & other compensations:

Full-time in-house, on-site, hourly position. Hourly rate starts at $20.00 per hour, negotiable based on skills and experience.


After 30-day waiting period employees become eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance (with employer contribution), paid holidays and paid time off that increases with longevity.

After a 90-day waiting period, employees over the age of 21 become eligible to participate in the company sponsored 401(k) plan.
