Our client is a family-owned, specialized livestock practice in its second generation.

The core competencies of the practice in the northwest of Germany lie in the breeding and fattening of pigs, rearing and fattening of calves, and the care of dairy farms.

Stock management, prophylaxis, and therapy are closely intertwined and can be offered at a high level thanks to the in-house laboratory, including pathology.

Several trainings are offered multiple times a year for employees and customers to ensure equal collaboration. The well-organized, large team of veterinarians enables a employee-friendly emergency service system and specialization in the desired animal species.

Veterinarian as Livestock Practitioner (m/f/d)

The role:


  • In a team of about 20 people, you will mainly provide stock management in fattening and rearing stables or dairy farms, depending on your personal focus
  • You will be part of a group of three to four colleagues organized by a group leader
  • Your selfdetermined daily routine mainly includes independently planned, ambulatory practice and always aims to maintain the health of the animal populations
  • Your daily routine includes advising on topics such as housing, breeding, feeding, and vaccination strategies. For cattle, this also includes minor surgeries, fertility management, udder health, and hoof health
  • You will primarily conduct diagnostics with your colleagues in the inhouse laboratory,
