    We are Bronk's Knifeworks & Sharpening Services seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our team. This position is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. The current AP Clerk has given notice, and we are looking to hire someone immediately to cross-train with the outgoing clerk.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of approximately 100 invoices per week.
    • Coding: Accurately code invoices by department and category.
    • General Ledger Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of the General Ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • ACH Transactions: Process ACH transactions efficiently and accurately.
    • Software Proficiency: While experience with Sage is a plus, it is not required. However, strong Excel skills are essential for this role.
    • Cross-Training: Work closely with the current AP Clerk to learn and understand the processes and systems in place.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Previous experience in an AP Clerk role or similar position is highly desirable.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Knowledge of Sage is beneficial but not essential.
    • Detail-Oriented: Must possess a keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial processing.
